At the Merchants and Manufacturers' Industrial Exhibition held in Milwaukee from September 2-12, 1911, the School of Engineering of Milwaukee displayed and demonstrated an airship with wireless controls. This zeppelin had ringing bells, activating propellers, blinking landing lights, and was operated by School of Engineering students.
