Heinz M. Werwath was the youngest child of MSOE founder, Oscar Werwath and wife Johanna [Seelhorst] Werwath. During high school, Heinz amassed twelve letters in football, basketball, and track; he was also elected junior class president and prom king. Heinz was involved with sports throughout college and during his time in the Air Force. At MSOE, Heinz worked as Director of Admissions, Assistant Registrar, and as Vice-President and Treasurer.
