In the ravines at Donges Bay before the dam collapsed. Donges Bay was a lake shore property that was roughly three miles long and owned by Jacob F. Donges, Jr. It was one of two resorts [the other was Fairy Chasm], built as wilderness areas for the visiting pleasure of Milwaukeeans in the late nineteenth century.
